Hi, If you are looking for an addiction specialist then you have come to the right place. I have more than 25 years experience in the addictions field. I am a native New Yorker and have been living in North Carolina for the past 18 years. I know how overwhelming it is to reach out to a therapist for the first time. It like stepping into the unknown and that can be a good thing at times. Don't allow society's stigma to stagnate you from getting the help you need I believe that counseling is a collaborative endeavor that requires me to be a non- judgmental ,honest, compassionate and caring therapist.
My goal is to provide a nurturing place for you to express your true feelings. I know from personal experience how people are judged due to having a problem with alcohol and drug use and or another addictions. I will assist you with learning new coping skills, relapse triggers and relapse prevention.I treat adults adolescents and couples counseling.
I am an eclectic counselor and utilizes a blend of cbt, solution focused, short term problem solving and motivational interviewing techniques. I am straightforward and will treat you with dignity and respect I graduated from Webster University in Myrtle Beach SC with a Masters in counseling and a BS in sociology with criminal justice concentration.
