I truly love what I do for a living. I am grateful and honored to be trusted to help people emotionally work through difficult times from the past and challenges in the present. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients, especially those who are open to learning new ways of seeing themselves and their relationships. Each client is unique and complex bringing multiple concerns. I am most effective treating anxiety, fears, psychological trauma, low self-esteem, trouble communicating, perfectionism and emotional exhaustion. Ideally, you also have a sense of humor. :)
I specialize in PTSD and other anxiety disorders. My combined expertise in Interpersonal therapy, EMDR, Schema Therapy, and Somatic-Experiencing make me unique in NH. These multiple viewpoints and methods mean more individualized therapy for you, plus education and coaching. I am the local "go-to" person for trauma treatment.
Clients feel very comfortable and respected in my office. I am told they can talk to me about ANYTHING, and I will LISTEN. You will be expected to work hard in session, but hopefully we will often laugh together, too. Apparently, I can be pretty funny at times.
