What a shitshow, right? This country is wild right now, so no wonder life feels harder! Trying to understand who we are and how to deal with our feelings while worrying about neo-Nazis and mass shootings feels like a LOT. Clients come to me because I can relate to that feeling. I'm a queer Latina immigrant, and I understand that context impacts how we perceive ourselves. If we work together, know that I'll bring up cultural norms, values and all the ways that it's affecting you. People say they enjoy working with me because I appreciate directness, and that goes well with their neurodivergence.

Sometimes they want to talk about their relationships (poly, biracial, asexual, etc.) and not feel judged. I'm here for it! I want to hear about how people can suck and how they have wronged you, but we’ll also work together to understand how to grow through it. I know that's hard, but you don't have to figure it out alone (that's what you pay me for).

Therapy can be uncomfortable, so I appreciate humor and hearing about your D&D campaign or movies (and please share the gossip from your coworker).
