Dr. Pimental’s more recent work since 2014 involves a focus on positive neuropsychology and brain health, espousing a model of mind, body, spiritual and nutritional wellness, and a lifelong program to build a better brain. Dr. Pimental has researched and developed cutting edge models and programs such as BrainSmartSM Wellness Programs for Cognitive Health.
Dr. Pimental believes that interventions in neurobehavioral medicine should help patients have a better understanding of their situations, more power over their actions and reactions, and the highest quality of life possible through nutrition, spirituality, movement, natural healing, and mind-body wellness in maintaining brain health throughout the lifespan.
