I am a board certified psychotherapist/psychiatric clinical nurse specialist with over 30 years providing individual psychotherapy to adults.I believe in a collaborative approach in which client and therapist identify stressors and explore alternative approaches to enhance coping skills and achieve emotional well being. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the foundation of my practice-however an eclectic approach is often indicated and is dependent upon the needs of the individual and the treatment goals identified at the onset of therapy
I am trained in psychopharmacology and am available to collaborate with your psychiatrist or physician if medication is an essential component of your treatment. Please note: I do not prescribe medication ; treat individuals under the age of 18; or individuals with a primary issue of substance addiction/ abuse.
Insurance is accepted for appointments scheduled Mon-Thurs. Saturday/Sunday extended sessions/ workshops are available on a fee for service basis. I do not accept Medicaire.
