In Westwood near UCLA, I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, eating disorders, breast cancer and relationships. I provide psychotherapy for adults and children in a safe, supportive environment where we will explore behaviors and emotions that hamper healthy self-expression and relationships. By identifying personal goals we can gain a better understanding of the repetitive patterns that block these goals. Often coping strategies from childhood are no longer useful. By becoming mindful of these patterns, we can begin to let these patterns go and begin to form new patterns that will move us in the direction we want.
Sometimes anxiety and depression link to needs that have been locked away and judged as shameful. With support, these needs can be unlocked and expressed for the first time. With an appreciation of the mind, body, spirit connection, I encourage a connection with yourself generating more fulfilling connections with others.
With children I address problematic behaviors before harmful patterns develop in the first place. I help the child to find appropriate ways to express thier needs. I also offer couples therapy snd custody mediation. With degrees from Stanford University, Pepperdine University and CSPP-LA, I continue to explore the latest research.
