Hello, I am Patrice Cox. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2010. I received my masters degree from Clark Atlanta University and my undergraduate degree from Georgia State University. I have been working in the field of counseling since 2004. I have experience working with individuals who deal with issues such as: anxiety, depression, stress management, substance abuse, grief, loss, trauma, relationship conflict, anger management, poor communication skills, family conflict, family reunification, low self-esteem, gender identity, and poor decision making.
My counseling style is non-judgmental, supportive, honest, and encouraging. I use an eclectic approach to counseling which includes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I believe that everyone has the ability to make their desired changes and/or improvements.
All appointments are made on-line by visiting my website.
