About
Life is hard right now, and you know that it can be better. You might be feeling stuck and overwhelmed, and you just can't seem to move forward. You’re facing more stress than you can handle. Trauma, grief or bereavement, or chronic pain. I will provide a safe, welcoming space for you, where you will gain the tools and strength to get through life’s many challenges. Instead of keeping you stuck, challenges will become opportunities for growth and increased self-awareness. Therapy will help you manage tough emotions and lead to better functioning and an overall sense of well-being, despite the obstacles that life throws your way.
I see therapy as a journey, and each person’s journey is unique. I will draw from evidence-based practices in my work with you, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others.
Despite the fancy-sounding names, my style is warm, down-to-earth, and according to some people, even "fun." Most importantly, I will do my best to use an approach that works best for you. Together, we can work toward making the changes you want to create a life you love - because you deserve nothing less.
