Family Village Counseling Center is a telehealth only mental health agency. We have multiple therapists with many years experience, offering services children, teens, families, adults and couples. Our therapists offer laid-back, flexible services, to allow you to feel more comfortable in connecting with a therapist that meets your therapeutic needs. We accept Medicaid and are in network with most major commercial insurance plans. We do offer private pay options for individuals and can explore payment plans or a sliding scale fee if needed.

It's tough to be a kid or teen right now and it's tough to parent a kid or teen. The more motivated a young person and their family are to improve, the more successful we are in therapy. It will go best when everyone is (1) honest enough to really get to know themselves, (2) empathetic enough to care about the effects their choices and actions have on others, and (3) brave enough to do things differently so they can feel better, have healthier relationships, and enjoy more successes.

I am very person-centered in my therapeutic approach. My goal is to meet each client where they are in their life journey and to utilize my education, knowledge and experience to assist each client with reaching their desired goals. I have a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, as well as a master’s degree in addiction counseling, and have worked with clients with dual diagnoses. I spent 15 years working with adolescents in a residential setting; 6 of those years being the Director of Clinical Services. I have always had a passion for working with children and adolescents.

I believe that everyone comes to a time in life when they face their own personal “truth in the room”. This can be as simple as private self-reflection or as complicated as trying to save a relationship or marriage. Maybe you have a child who is out of control or a sibling who suffers from substance abuse. Whatever brings you to therapy, know that it is my goal to partner with you as you work toward personal growth and wellness. Strong individuals are able to have strong relationships and healthy lives with meaning and purpose. My ideal client is one who is ready to explore "who they are and to do it on purpose".
