Through a collaborative approach and taking into account the mind & body, we join you on a journey of exploration, growth, and healing. Our trauma specialists can assist you in reconnecting with yourself and your body, feel grounded, and helping you manage your life more smoothly.

Our approach to therapy is eclectic. Therapy is tailored collaboratively with the client based on their needs. Our trauma specialists have been trained in a variety of modules, including Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Brainspotting, Somatic Therapies, the Havening Techniques, EMDR, Parts Work/IFS, Inner Child Healing Work, etc.

My main approach to working with trauma truly lies in doing Parts Work using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens. We all have parts of ourselves, that show up differently (each with their thoughts, feelings, and motivations) depending on who we are with. When it comes to trauma, parts of the self could be stuck in time. In other words, the adult part of the self has already survived the worst.

Sexual Abuse Survivors Group: IFS Informed (FULL)

Group for Female Identified Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse: The format includes group discussions using parts language, guided IFS exercises/meditations that that emphasize working with protective, exiled, blended and polarized parts in a group setting and cultivating increased self energy. IFS therapy offers participants the ability to work towards increased self-compassion, reduction of shame, assistance in unburdening parts who have been forced into extreme roles as a survivor strategy and healing wounded and traumatized parts. Ultimately the group aims to empower survivors through recovering from childhood sexual abuse by healing the wounds of the past and provided a new experience in the present.
