My goal and my motto is: "Encouragement for Change and Empowerment to Heal". I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families. My focus is to help you identify, manage, adjust and heal from whatever unpredictable life experiences, that have caused you distress. I partner with you to develop healthy and effective coping skills, in an effort to promote a positive and optimal quality of life. If your life has been compromised by depression, anxiety, past trauma, stress, lack of motivation, etc., and you are struggling with work-life balance and/or stagnation, you are who I want to help!
I work with individuals and help to process: events that have caused distress; develop healthy coping skills; set positive goals; identify strengths; explore boundary setting; discover individual resilience; rewrite narratives; trauma informed care (develop insight into what causes dysfunctional decision making); create a framework for making better choices.
I provide a therapeutic environment that is totally client focused. I provide support and encouragement for whatever goals you as the client want to attain; no judgment. Some techniques used: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, Grounding.
