One focus of my practice is in Perinatal Mental Health (Pregnancy and Postpartum) including mood and anxiety disorders, depression, miscarriage, stillbirth, pregnancy or birth complications, trauma and grief, or difficulties bonding with your baby. I work with couples struggling with relationship issues including the impact having a baby has on a relationship, parenting challenges and healthy communication. Nancy Heilman, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty-five years of experience working with children, teens, and families. Clinical treatment methods have included family therapy and parenting skills training, individual therapy for children and adolescents utilizing cognitive-behavioral interventions and skills-training.Specialties include anxiety and adjustment disorders, brain injury, neuro-developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and chronic and terminal illness. Her clinical approach is primarily evidenced based, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, developmental, and neuro-biological in nature.

As a therapist, I help clients navigate the process of change in a caring and supportive environment. Angela Lujan, LMHC, CMHS, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist. Angela has worked over the last several years with children/teens/young adults and their families, helping navigate relational hardships and conflicts. Angela is particularly drawn to working with youth and adults who struggle with interpersonal relationships, bullying, self-image issues, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief and loss, trauma, learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, concerns with school performance, and various other emotional and behavioral challenges.

My clients come to me with difficulties in attention, organization, task initiation, metacognition and other areas executive functioning, and may also have a history of learning disability or academic underachievement. I help students "work smarter, not harder." I will also travel to provide assessment services, including Independent Education Evaluations (IEEs).

Therapy is a place for yourself or your loved one to take time to build self-care, self-reflection, insight and skills to manage the symptoms they are experiencing. Many adults and youth experience symptoms of depression, anxiety or are overcoming issues of past trauma that plays in to their ability to go about life.
