With evening and weekend hours available, I aim to make help accessible to my clients. And with over 35 year of work in the field, I bring that deep experience and wisdom to the work. I feel very effective working with clients on many issues: COUPLES: Infidelity, loss of emotional/intimate closeness, communication problems, anger issues, and parenting. FAMILIES: blended family issues, adoption/fostercare, caregiving decisions, substance abuse concerns. INDIVIDUAL: Anxiety, substance abuse, recovery and relapse prevention, self-esteem, anger management, trauma and its aftermath, depression, relationship issues, adoption issues.
I help create an emotionally safe environment where people can be authentic and identify what they truly want to foster in selves and relationships. Groups
Socialization for young adults with social anxiety
This is a small group of folks in their 20s and 30s who are experiencing difficulty socializing comfortably, meeting people, making conversation, etc. Some of the participants are on the Spectrum, others suffer from social anxiety or other issues making them "shy" interacting with others. People can participate on computer or in person. It is comfortable, welcoming, and participants have found it very helpful. Some attend remotely, some in person.

Women exploring their alcohol intake
In the wake of the pandemic, many women are re-examining their intake of alcohol, which may have ticked up to worrisome levels. This small, in-person group allows women to confidentially explore their relationship to alcohol (without judgment) and support each other in making the changes they wish to make.
