I can help your child or adolescent navigate some of life's challenges and support you as a parent or guardian as you guide them. I'm Will and I'm a therapist; but, you may also want to know that I love Star Wars, Harry Potter, hot sauces, Bay Area Sports, and the outdoors. In no way do we have to have similar interests but I find that I relate to the world via my experiences and what I'm attracted to. Session interventions may consists of behavioral, cognitive/behavioral, psycho-educational, talk, & play therapy techniques.

I support young people to find their voice, become more self confident, and communicate in a way that expresses their needs. Many times there is a disconnect between behavior and desires. I work closely to increase awareness of why these behaviors are happening and encourage an awareness to begin to identify triggers, with an overall goal of self awareness and self control.

I believe that mental health issues arise when we are faced with overwhelming emotions in isolation. Without the necessary support, emotions get so big and daunting that we defend ourselves against them, leading to numbness, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to invite intense emotions into the room so that we can learn to regulate them together and they can be reincorporated into the psyche, leading to a fuller and healthier life.
