I have been working with people for 30 years and look forward to helping clients create healthy relationships with me, themselves and with those in their lives. I encourage clients to do homework assignments in between therapy sessions, in an effort to help clients take ownership of their process, and learn coping skills that will last beyond treatment.

I believe the development of a secure and collaborative relationship is the most important aspect of the work I do with clients. Working from a strengths-based and relational perspective in a trauma informed manner, I have experience working with at-risk youth, families, and adults using a multi-theoretical approach including attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, narrative therapy, neuroscience research, and alternative therapies such as art and nature therapy.
