Starting therapy and facing life's most difficult challenges may be intimidating. To help reduce your anxiety about treatment, I work to provide an open, warm, and accepting environment. I believe each individual is capable of using their strengths and wisdom to tackle problems and having the right therapist enhances these capabilities. I challenge clients to develop new skills and insights to aid in healing and live a better life by employing an integrative therapeutic framework utilizing psychodynamic, relational, and behavior theories including mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior therapy.
Working with adolescents, adults, and couples, I treat the a full spectrum of mental health and relationship issues. Additionally, I specialize in treating sexual health issues and working with the LGBTQ populations. I provide a supportive and culturally sensitive setting in which people of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome.
I completed my doctorate at Suffolk University in Boston, MA and pre-doctoral internship at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. I have trained in a variety of techniques within a multitude of settings such as the VA, community centers, high schools, and college counseling centers.
