I am licensed in and currently provide telehealth counseling to residents of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. I have experience working with diverse populations, of different economic, cultural, ethnic, spiritual, racial and sexual identities, as well as those with chronic & severe mental illness. I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach deriving from several theoretical models. I integrate evidence based methods & techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to individual needs. I draw upon various aspects of Psychodynamic, Couples & Family Systems, Client Centered, & Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies.
My therapy focuses on understanding the underlying causes of psychological & emotional issues. I focus on the relationship between client & therapist, as life experiences & challenges will re-emerge within the context of this relationship. My approach to couples therapy combines elements of many schools of thought too, depending upon the needs of the couple.
