I have been passionate about mental health for many years. Upon experiencing the benefits of psychotherapy in my own life and the lives of those around me, I knew I had found my calling. I approach my clients with an unconditional positive regard and whole hearted acceptance. I believe that the therapeutic alliance is essential to a positive outcome in the clinical process. I genuinely value my clients as unique individuals and my satisfaction comes from guiding others out of the darkness and into the light.
I am person centered and I utilize cognitive behavioral techniques with my clients. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults struggling from a myriad of mental health conditions ranging from generalized anxiety, major depression, substance abuse disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and others.
There is much suffering in this world and while many of us strive to make a difference we fall short and may feel hopeless when our efforts are frustratingly futile.
