Welcome to my psychotherapy practice (www.pamelatinkham.com.) I would love the privilege to assist you in having the life you want to live. I am a genuine, compassionate therapist with an empathetic heart. I work virtually serving all ages and I am licensed in NY, CT, FL and NJ. I have a passion for my work and have published; Healing Trauma from the Inside Out, Practices from the East & West, to help those who cannot get into the therapy room or platform. Taking that first step for support is an act of courage. I commend you for this!
I offer traditional psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, ERP, solution focused and body-centered approaches as well as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and Yoga Therapy. I also offer couples counseling and work part-time at the Anxiety Institute. I formerly taught at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and have been in the field for over twenty years.
The Anxiety Institute delivers the most cutting-edge, diagnostic specific interventions for (1) Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Anxiety; (2) OCD with and without Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors; and (3) General Anxiety Disorders.
