I enjoy working with anyone who is struggling to understand themselves and their behavior. While we can not force someone else to change, changing how we react to others can often bring about change in the relationship. I see counseling as a journey. You are the driver and I am the passenger pointing out road signs. My job is not to judge but to make sure you are aware of your options and their consequences. Whether it is childhood issues, parenting skills, stress, anxiety, depression or problematic relationships, talking to an unbiased trained professional can be of great benefit.
I have over 25 years of experience working with individuals, teenagers and families. I especially enjoy working with individuals going through divorce, teenagers, grandparents raising grandchildren, blended families, couples striving to have a healthy relationship and anyone motivated to understand themselves.
I have evening and weekend hours available as well as daytime hours. "Life is what happens while we are busy making other plans" (John Lennon) and is too short to go through it unhappy. Often we give our power away to others and don't even realize it. We teach people how to treat us by what we will tolerate.
