I often work with profound unrecognized and misdiagnosed trauma, critical incidents & shame. The benefit about having various "tools" in my arsenal means we don't need to verbally go "into the muck" which can be re-traumatizing and contraindicated.
Trauma and PTSD are about physiology not psychology; biology not biography. Trauma is visceral! I am always humbled and honored to witness profound changes in people who have been suffering for days, months, years, or even decades due to misunderstood symptoms or deeply rooted painful issues they NEVER believed they would or could be unshackled from.
