Pamela K Haddad
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Pamela K Haddad is not currently accepting new clients.
My practice aligns with the functional approach, which works from a “psychology of growth” and not from a "psychology of illness”. Therapy is a collaborative process through which I empower the individual, couple, or family to implement meaningful change(s) that will improve their well-being. Throughout the process I engage in active listening, problem identification, problem-solving techniques and follow up. As clients gain clarity of their problems, I am able to help them create their own paths to healing.
Since 1985 I have been working with individuals and families caught in high risk cycles of inter-generational child trauma and neglect. My therapy draws from a strong foundation in Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, allowing me to work with complex and difficult issues.
Many people are reluctant to seek therapy or counseling due to society's belief that asking for help implies weakness. It is actually the opposite. Reaching out to seek help takes courage and faith in the process. My relationships with my clients are the vehicle for growth and change. I consider it a privilege to be invited into the process of healing.
