I have always viewed my work as a therapist as an honor and privilege to walk alongside individuals and couples to address some of their most sensitive and intimate struggles they've experienced in life. I work with clients ranging in age from college age into late adulthood. I have extensive experience working with marital and relationship problems, infidelity, divorce issues, as well those who might struggle with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, family of origin issues and adults working through childhood trauma. I also have a special heart for those who have endured medical illness.
A large part of my practice is doing marital therapy. Marriages take work and it's easy to get stuck - I like to help couples get unstuck! I believe in both parties having an equal voice and I'm a proactive and engaging presence in the therapeutic process towards change.
Equally important is the individual work I do - unraveling and working through past hurts, disappointments, anger and fears. This opens the door for finding peace towards living a healthier and happy life. I believe in hope - leaving struggles in the past where they belong and rebuilding and strengthening interpersonal confidence.
