I am an experienced psychotherapist with a specialized practice that combines IFS, CBT, Bibilical Counseling, and Clinical Hypnosis. I offer an integrative form of treatment that focuses on the psychological, relational, physical and spiritual aspects of an individual's experience. I have received training in a variety of therapeutic approaches to enable me to tailor treatment to the specific needs of my clients. Areas of clinical specialty include depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, posttraumatic stress, relationship issues, chronic illness, end of life issues, grief, spiritual conflict, physical and sexual abuse.
Because physical and mental health are inextricably linked, the use of both IFS and hypnosis are highly effective in the treatment of life issues that exacerbate health problems. Through the use of these modalities, I assist patients with specific health management and wellness issues including pain management and sleep disorders.
My training in Biblical Counseling to provide Christian based therapy is an area of special interest and the framework from which I draw personal and professional perspective. I help individuals explore and identify their personal belief systems to understand how this might be a significant resource in their own experience.
