Hello, I am Dr. Pamela Blueford! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about providing support and creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment for individuals and couples to share their experiences. My approach is client centered. I will fully engage in active listening, validate emotions, and empower clients to explore their challenges and strengths. I strive to create a space where clients feel accepted and understood, no matter their thoughts, feelings, or experiences. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment.
I like working with individuals and couples. I have over 17 years of experience and treat individuals with the following issues: stress management, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, family separation, adjustment issues and life transition problems, and marital/partner issues.
I was attracted to becoming a therapist because I enjoy helping individuals work through life challenges. I believe therapy is a process that helps individuals better understand and navigate their emotions, behaviors, and thoughts. It provides a safe, supportive environment to explore challenges, develop coping strategies, and work toward personal growth.
