Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to read and learn more about me. My name is Pamela and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2015. I have over 10 years of experience working with youth, adolescents, younger adults, and parents/families. I focus on issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, social anxiety, general anxiety, life transitions, immigration, and more.
Person/Client- Center Counseling, Mindfulness and Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy. I currently see clients who struggle with issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem or self-confidence, difficulty expressing feelings appropriately, and clients who bottle up their emotions and do not know how to use their voice to advocate for themselves.
I aimed at establishing a therapeutic relationship, gathering information on what brings you to therapy, and collaboratively developing therapeutic goals to increase well-being and mental health. I may do a little bit more of the talking during the first session as I want to understand your support system, your struggles, and your family history.
