I have worked as a mental health counselor for the past thirty years in a variety of settings. My experience includes counseling persons who have experienced anxiety, depression and trauma. Over my career, I have been fortunate to have acquired many skills and experiences which I refer to as my "tool box". I believe that no single theory or approach has the "answers" to effectively treat and help you with the problems that you hope to address in counseling. My belief is that you have the answers to your problems, and we can work together to find healthy solutions. I also provide supervision services for LPCA's.
In our first session together we will start with brief introductions and I will gather some background information from you . I will also have you complete some forms as well. I would like this to be a relaxed time for you and I to talk and also allow time for you to get to know me as well.
