I specialize in narcissistic abuse and trauma. This includes narcissistic abuse from parents, partners, family members, in the workplace and in high conflict divorce. Whether from someone who is borderline, narcissistic, emotionally immature or self-absorbed, the impact of trauma has a profound effect. I believe unhealed trauma is at the root of most of our pain and suffering. Unhealed trauma is stored in the body and it will stay there unless we actively work to release it. I use a polyvagal and somatic approach to help you regulate your nervous system and move out of a state of survival and into a state of safety and calm.
This includes creating a healthy psychological separation, changing negative internal messages, overcoming self-doubt, creating boundaries, learning how to respond and becoming your authentic self. I primarily work with individuals. However, I work with couples whose focus is navigating difficult family systems together and some parent/child relationships.
Through the development of a safe and nurturing relationship, together we can create healthy patterns, strengthen relationships, end self-doubt and build confidence. Healing is possible.
