After graduating from UT Austin in 1994 with a degree in Kinesiology, I worked as a fitness specialist on an eating disorder treatment team. There I discovered my love for helping people recover from eating disorders so I began a Masters Counseling program and started my journey to become a therapist.

Groups
Adult Adoptee Therapy Group
This group starts November 5, 2024 and will be in-person in Austin, Texas. We will meet through May 2024. 3 Intake appointments are required so call early to get the intake process started. Adoptees can benefit from being in a group with other adoptees. The group is supportive, educational, and makes room for each person to talk about the current issues in their life that relate to their experience with adoption. The focus is on self-understanding, self-compassion, and how adoption has impacted their lives.
