About
I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages with a variety of concerns including but not limited to: anxiety, panic, depression, LGBTQ+ concerns, life transitions, and trauma. I have experience in community mental health, school counseling, and school-based mental health settings. I am a trauma-informed, affirming Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed School Counselor. Operating from a gentle, person-centered orientation, I utilize outside-of-the-box approaches to customize treatment for each person’s specific needs.
I have obtained training in working with military, veterans, and military families. I also have training in trauma-focused approaches, such as expressive arts, EMDR, Brainspotting, meditation, breathwork, and yoga-based somatic movement. My use of these techniques will assist you in accomplishing your goals and empower you to trust and believe in yourself.
I understand that we are all unique and have different strengths, and I hope to learn more about your strengths in order to create a plan specifically for you. While we will work as a team, you are the expert; I will entrust you and your lived experience to guide us.
