Welcome to my practice. Trained at the The Wright Institute in Berkeley, my approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based treatment. Good psychotherapy encourages perspective on life's challenges, and can open up new possibilities.
Alongside my private practice, I am an Adjunct Professor at Dominican University. In addition to providing psychodynamic treatment and effective cognitive behavioral approaches for anxiety and depression symptoms, I have specialty training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an empirically validated method for trauma.
There are surprisingly diverse ways to address mental health concerns, and there is no one-size-fits all approach to therapy. I work closely with clients to develop a plan that feels right.
