My name is Paige Mercer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, working with clients statewide via telehealth. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with; in other words, it's all about YOU! I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy as each modality helps the two of us to build an understanding of your reality, and will allow us to work together to chart a path forward. I genuinely enjoy journeying alongside my clients.
I have found that my style and approach fits well with teenagers, and adults in various life stages who may be dealing with life transitions and social challenges. I journey with my clients during these transition periods and assist them in building skills to help them be successful and have a more positive outlook on life.
Our first session together is all about getting to know each other. We will talk about how you've been feeling recently, what you might like to accomplish during your therapeutic journey, and how I can best be a support. In other words, we will begin building a connection, decide where we need to focus our journeying, and get started!
