Hi! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Paige Dixon and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor at Iron City Counseling in Hoover, AL. I support teens and adults facing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and more. I provide affirming care to members of the LGBTQ+ community facing these concerns and support them through navigating the world as marginalized people. My goal is to empower you to reach your own goals, find meaning, and create the life that makes you happy and satisfied, while equipping you with the necessary tools and knowledge to make that life a reality. I am so honored to be a part of your process.
Through therapy, I will help you determine your own goals and find meaning in your life. I trust you as the expert on your own experience and your values. I provide a professional perspective and support in guiding you to achieve a life that aligns with your values in an environment that you can trust as affirming and supportive.
Starting or returning to therapy can be tough. I try to take the scariness out of it. I will communicate with you from start to finish about the process and what to expect, and make adjustments to help you feel more comfortable.
