I enjoy working with people struggling through periods of transition. While much of my experience has been with people recovering from medical illness, I'm also comfortable working with people who are at any turning point in life -- or who would like to reach a point of change or growth.
For 35 years I've worked with people who have been affected by cancer-- both patients in treatment and those close to them. I also have a strong interest is helping people who have completed treatment to understand their cancer experience and to create the next chapter of their lives.
In addition to being an expert in the field of psycho-oncology (the feelings that may accompany a diagnosis of cancer), I have also had a great deal of training in other aspects of human development. My practice has always included people with cancer, and those struggling with other concerns.
