I came to Humboldt County in 2001, after completing my psychology degree in Europe and my master's degree in psychotherapy in Syracuse, New York. I have practiced psychotherapy for the last 30 years, and I am familiar with a wide range of issues, situations and diagnosis. Although, I enjoy specific theoretical and practical approaches and models of therapy like CBT, SFBT for treating anxiety, trauma impact and depression symptoms, I clinically focus on what I believe suits best the individual and the situation. I view life as a journey towards betterment of the person and reach for happiness.
At times, we encounter blockages and/or side paths that take us somewhere else that is uncomfortable and perhaps induces despair, isolation and suffering. I focus on assisting the individual to realize her/his strengths at hand to regain and/or claim where their next step is.
