Today, helping individuals and families from all walks of life to be able to receive the help they need I believe that experiencing the horrors of the illness first hand far better prepared me to help those in need than the years of professional training that have followed. Today, fortunate to have lived the past 40 + years in my own recovery, I remain forever grateful to those who cared enough to help me at a time when I could not help myself.
