You’re doing a lot for everyone, and at the same time you’re trying to hold on to who you are. Maybe you’re figuring out adulthood, balancing school or work, managing relationships, or trying to feel like “yourself” while also being there for other people. Big changes — starting college, career shifts, breakups, becoming a parent, identity changes — can feel overwhelming, lonely, or like a loss. You don’t have to sort it out alone. This is a space to say what’s really going on, without having to minimize it or make it sound okay.

We all go through stressful periods in our lives. Sometimes it's a result of a traumatic event, such as a sexual assault, loss of a loved one, or difficult life transition. Sometimes it's more complicated to pinpoint. Maybe we are having trouble coping with school, work, or everyday life and are not sure why. Maybe we feel stuck and just feel "off" or not ourselves. I believe that everyone is capable of changing their life and moving toward happiness. Whether you are new to therapy or have gone in the past, I'll work with you with non-judgment and compassion to help to you on your journey of personal growth.

Trauma is stored mentally and physically inside of us. It’s not something you can just "get over". You may try to forget it, but this will only provide, at best, temporary relief. The path to healing is not through removing the pain of the trauma, but rather through understanding and developing a healthy relationship with it. This isn’t easy, and can often be long and frightening process, but it can lead to a reclaimed sense of self-worth and a healthier and more fulfilling relationship with the world around you. If any of this resonates with you, we may work well together on your journey to healing and wholeness.

Anxiety has a way of making your mind race through worst-case scenarios — and ADHD can make it feel impossible to slow down long enough to figure out what you actually need. If you've been carrying the weight of overwhelm, low motivation, or a persistent sense that something has to change, you don't have to figure it out alone. I work with adults and college students throughout Pennsylvania who are ready to stop managing their symptoms and start building a life that actually feels like theirs.

I am in-network for Cigna, IBX, Highmark, Aetna, Quest, Providence, Carelon, and Lyra.
Your child’s challenging behavior has impacted every aspect of your family’s lives. Their temper tantrums, physical and verbal aggression, attention-seeking, and defiant behaviors are wreaking havoc on the whole family. Their behavior has even threatened your job because you’ve had to leave work to pick up your kid from school. Sometimes, you fear your housing situation may be in jeopardy since the tantrums get too loud or destructive. Plus, the behavior has put undue strain on your other children. You feel like you’ve tried everything to improve your child’s behavior. The situation feels hopeless and you fear for their future.

When we are facing life stressors, we tend to focus on addressing the immediate symptoms. This can be very adaptive. However, if we only ever focus on the immediate symptoms of our struggles, we may never recognize or have the possibility of healing the root cause of our pain. I believe that therapy provides a powerful space to explore, understand, and ultimately heal the root causes of our struggles. I approach my work with insight from a variety of therapeutic frameworks, including Narrative Therapy, Parts Work, Solution Focused Therapy, & Attachment Theory.
