I have 25 years and an array of experience coaching, counseling and teaching in the areas of addiction, mental health, behavior issues with children, and parenting . I believe in people and the ability to grow. I have a warm and compassionate approach and find laughter as one of the greatest healers. I believe we should be enjoying our lives but sometimes that is difficult. My overall goal is to help clients enjoy a full and happy life.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I aspire to counsel clients collaboratively towards their individualized goals using a solution focused approach. I have been working in the field since 2005 and have experience providing individual, family, and couples counseling. I enjoy working with all ages. I currently offer individual supervision for counselors working towards their LPC licensure. Supervisees will be accepted on a case by case basis. If there is enough interest, a supervision group may be formed.

For more than 40 years I have enjoyed working as a psychologist delivering counseling, consultation and assessment services. I consider it a privilege to be invited into an individual's world at a time of need and work hard to build a trusting alliance with each person. I listen to my clients and engage them around the unique stories they share so we can set goals and a treatment plan that is personally tailored to each individual and/or couple. I believe that in this hectic world our children benefit from additional sources of support. I offer this support to children and their families. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach, and recognize the parent as being "the expert" on their child. I provide individual and group counseling services as well as psychological evaluations.

My clients are primarily parents who are experiencing perinatal depression, anxiety and trauma or who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss, and/or pregnancy complications. Their goal is to feel better as soon as possible. They need an experienced, confident and caring therapist who knows how to help them in their distress. My name is Dr. Jeff Selman and I am a licensed psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a certified school psychologist. I offer evidence-based psychological services to individuals across the lifespan and their families. These services include Autism and ADHD assessment, individual and family therapy, parent behavior management training and coaching, and consultation and training for schools and community agencies.
