Hello, the work that I do with individuals, couples and families is based in a mindfulness and cognitive behavior therapy approach. I work with clients to integrate mindfulness skills and cognitive behavior strategies into their daily lives. These strategies help to access a more centered and deliberate way of being. The skills and strategies used are tailored for each individual based on concerns, goals and interests. This approach is great for those who experience anxiety, high levels of stress, trauma, depression, or have anger related concerns.

I am an active therapist. I design treatment plans and utilize strategies that are appropriate for both the issues and the personalities of my clients. I work with individuals in the context of their life and couples seeking to repair, improve or strengthen their relationship. My areas of specialty include intimacy, conflict, anger issues and the breadth of sexuality concerns.

My ideal client is motivated. I have been a licensed psychologist for 19 years. I graduated from Villanova University and worked as a cognitive therapist at the University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Hospital before opening my own group practice, Addiction & Psychological Therapy. The group specializes in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive thinking, OCD, ADHD, depression, marital and family counseling, alcoholism and crisis clients, treating children, adolescents and adults. I also have a forensic program treating Anger Management and DUI's. We offer ARD & IPP Evaluations, Anger Management Evaluations, Drug and Alcohol Assessments and Mental Heath Evaluations, and Suboxin treatment.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a great deal of experience in helping individuals change their behaviors, their minds, and hence, their lives. Through the use of insight and supportive therapies, noetic-behavioral and cognitive-behavioral techniques, biofeedback, hypnosis, relaxation and stress management, breathing strategies, communication training, and homework, clients are taught a variety of skills that are grounded in current scientific research and empirically tested strategies. Provided they practice these skills, clients can learn to help promote lasting change within themselves.
