Heidi Hughes, LPC Heidi has lived in Bucks County, Pa the majority of her childhood and adult life; minus a few years in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Her education focused primarily on Psychology (Counseling) , Cultural Anthropology, Marriage & Family Therapy and Music. Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) with Problem Gambling endorsement, she puts her years of professional training to use helping people cope with Co-Occurring issues and Marriage, Couples & Family.

Sara utilizes an open-minded, non-judgmental approach to help clients express themselves and determine what interventions will help them feel comfortable and successful. Kevin received his Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University and has experience working with a diverse population of clients including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. He also has extensive experience in treating anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, schizophrenia, co-occurring disorders, self-image struggles, intrusive thoughts, relational struggles, couples and marital therapy, as well as experience in handling and responding to crisis situations.

The "Three F's" emerge : Fight, Flight, Freeze, those primal responses to trauma. As these responses existed before cognition, logic and reasoning are often short-circuited. I specialize in working with adults, 18+, who have experienced trauma as a child and/or adult. I also focus on treating women struggling with Depression, Relationship Issues, Grief, Narcissistic Abuse, and Complex Life Issues. I am gender affirming, and work with people of color from different ethnic/cultural and religious backgrounds. I believe that treatment should be personalized to each person’s unique needs and situation, therefore I use a variety of treatment modalities, including Mindfulness and EMDR.

Ms. Rushbrook received her Master's of Social Services from Bryn Mawr College. As a licensed clinical social worker she works with children, families, individuals and couples. Mindy takes a person centered, solutions based approach with her clients. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, grieving, loss, trauma, ADD, self esteem and family issues. Ms. Rushbrook utilizes CBT and Motivational Interviewing as well as other treatment modalities as indicated which can vary from individual to individual.

Dr. Pitkow earned her Master's Degree and her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. She has a diverse background having worked with outpatient, inpatient, substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations. In addition to working in the field for close to 20 years, Dr. Pitkow brings essential life experiences to the work. Dr. Pitkow believes that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship established between the client and the therapist, without which very little is accomplished. To that end she aims to create a safe and warm environment where the relationship can develop.

My specialty lies in working with those who have experienced traumas, both large and small. Many times people see trauma as large life changing events and put aside the smaller things that can leave a mark. I try and explore both of these experiences with my clients, along with their relationships with others and themselves. This can cover a range of topics including, but not limited to, self-esteem, anxiety, boundaries, and self care. My goal is to create a space where clients can explore their emotions on their own timeline not mine or anyone else's.

Marjorie (Marge) Rubin is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1999 from Immaculata University and has been working as a therapist for more than 20 years in outpatient as well as in partial hospital settings. Prior to studying psychology, Marge was a teacher of Special Education and Middle School students and she brings this experience and expertise into her work; especially with children, adolescents, and parents. Marge advocates a person-centered, humanistic approach to therapy and is a certified Gestalt Therapist.
