Close your eyes and take a moment to reflect back on the last time you felt a sense of peace and belonging or your inner light sparked joy. Maybe you want to experience more of this or need guidance on how to create it. You aren’t feeling like yourself. Maybe anxiety or recent life changes feel overwhelming, or self-worth has been a long-standing struggle. Perhaps you’re feeling “blah,” finding it hard to feel joy or meaning, or stuck in thought patterns that leave you drained and exhausted. Old wounds may still be showing up in ways that are hard to understand. It’s completely normal to feel unsure about where to begin the healing process. You’re not just looking to get through the day, you want to heal, understand yourself more deeply, and learn how to quiet the mental noise so you can build a life that feels meaningful. I’m here to help.

Life is constantly changing. It can become so overwhelming at times that we don’t even know where to start meeting those challenges. However, we don’t have to face them alone.

Maybe you’re consumed with anxious thoughts, the “what if” kind that never seem to leave your side. Maybe you’re stuck in a never-ending loop of overthinking, feeling like your brain just won’t shut off. Maybe you’re constantly trying to figure out why you just had that really uncomfortable thought again (yes, that one !)

I love working with people navigating depression, grief and loss, trauma, low self-worth, substance use challenges, burnout, and existential distress. I also support clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-exploration or identity work. Wherever you are in your growth process, I’d love to meet you there and support you in finding healthy ways to navigate challenges. I strive to create a space where we feel more curious than critical as we explore coping tools and decision-making that may not align with your values or goals.

We do the best we can for our lives, however, old and new trauma and life challenges may hold us back and create suffering. I have worked extensively with adults facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, chronic pain, interpersonal issues and learnt that when people are given a safe environment to process their emotions, and held in compassion, there can be tremendous healing and big transformations. So no matter at what pace you want to go, this journey of healing and growth should not be a lonely one and I hope to be a part of your journey in your healing.

As a therapist, I consider myself a guide who's purpose is to provide a nonjudgmental, listening ear, help broaden my client's perspective, and assist them with seeing their potential for growth. We would work collaboratively to help you get to the next step towards your goals. We will process difficult feelings, find power from your experiences, heal from traumatic events, evaluate relationships and their impact, and make changes in your life. There are times in life where we feel powerless, and here we can help you rediscover your power as well as increase the power you have over your own life.

I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention ( ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients face their fears, reduce compulsions, and build a more flexible, values-driven life.
Not accepting new clients. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of specialized experience treating OCD and anxiety spectrum disorders, I understand what it's like to feel "stuck" in cycles of anxiety, endless worry, and constant "what if" thought loops. Maybe you're struggling with intrusive thoughts, persistent self-doubt, and compulsive behaviors that leave you feeling controlled by anxiety and you just want to feel like yourself again. More than anything, you want relief, clarity, and practical tools that work. You’re ready to stop merely coping and start reclaiming your life with purpose and self-trust.

I work with clients who are open to being challenged as they work toward their goals. My path to therapy began after years in outdoor leadership, mountain guiding, and experiential education, where I learned how principles of adventure can support growth in everyday life. In therapy, I combine adventure-based approaches with traditional modalities such as ACT, CBT, and MI. I believe good therapy should feel safe while also being effortful and inspiring.

I specialize in treating OCD and co-occurring disorders using ERP, ACT, and person-centered care.
My ideal client is an adult navigating intrusive thoughts, anxiety, perfectionism, or mental rituals—often with a diagnosis like OCD or ADHD, or overlapping symptoms that haven’t been clearly named yet. They may feel stuck in thought loops, burnout, or identity stress, and want both clarity and practical tools. Many are also seeking affirming care that respects their lived experience, especially within the LGBTQ+ community. They're looking for relief that’s sustainable, support that’s personalized, and a way to feel more grounded, capable, and fully themselves.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
