I'm a member of the community myself, and I understand the unique issues and challenges LGBTQIA+ people face in life and relationships. I also spent my graduate studies focusing on learning more about the many identities under the umbrella and worked side by side with people of different backgrounds. You're safe with me, and you won't have to spend your time educating me, either.

I strive to create a safe, supportive environment to explore many of life's difficulties including complex trauma, trauma, PTSD, anxiety , depression, relationship/attachment issues, self-esteem, chronic illness, phobias, loss & grief, mood disorders, & spiritual issues. Using an integrated approach, I incorporate different styles and techniques tailored to each individual's needs supporting the whole person with a mind-body-spirit approach. Working together, we increase self-awareness through the use of breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness as we facilitate the process of psychological & emotional healing.

I specialize in treating anxiety , self-esteem issues and trauma. Stress, anxiety , interpersonal issues and trauma come in many forms and tend to mask our awareness of our strengths and resources. Yet, it is the struggles themselves that help us to change and grow. Understanding this paradox is one way to find meaning and purpose in life. My clients benefit from slowing down, tuning in to their inner wisdom, and finding solutions to the stress, emotional pain, or emptiness they experience. My approach is integrative to help you identify recurring patterns, heal traumas, and make positive changes in your life and in relationships.

Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. She has broad knowledge of community based mental health, utilizing community support specific to a client’s needs. She brings expertise from school-based and outpatient settings. She is skilled in working with all ages, but specializes in working with adolescents and adults as they navigate through new life transitions, anger, mood disturbances, and challenges.

Rachael is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). She graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuropsychology. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In addition to these modalities, Rachael incorporates sensorimotor and expressive arts approaches into her therapeutic style.
