Go Glo Therapy is a supportive, affirming space for queer individuals and those navigating traumatic grief and loss. As an art therapist working from a Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT) framework, I believe healing happens through authentic connection, creativity, and relationships where all parts of you are welcome. Grief and trauma can feel isolating, confusing, and overwhelming — especially when your loss feels invisible, complicated, or misunderstood. In our work together, we may use both conversation and creative expression to gently explore your experience, honor what you’ve lost, and support you in reconnecting with yourself.

For me, therapy works best when the clinician shows up as a real person, not just a role or a title, and certainly not like the old cartoons of a stiff practitioner with a clipboard sitting next to someone lying on a couch. Trust and communication are the foundation of meaningful growth, and without them, progress is hard to sustain. My style is conversational, direct, and collaborative. I love metaphors and using humor when applicable in sessions. I aim to meet you where you are and work alongside you, not as someone who “fixes” you, but as someone who helps you recognize and strengthen the tools you already have.

I’m sex-positive and trauma-informed.
I’m a queer sex therapist offering unapologetically affirming care for individuals and relationships that don’t fit into society’s “traditional” mold. I work with clients who want depth, honesty, and real change without having to shrink any part of themselves. Whether you’re looking to reignite the spark in your relationship, explore your sexuality, or embrace your true self unapologetically, I’m here to create a spafe where all parts of you are celebrated. I approach my work with curiosity, compassion, and a good dose of humor because healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time.

I’m passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients, and I practice from a culturally affirming, relationship-affirming (including CNM), kink-allied, and sex-worker allied lens.
Therapy isn’t about racing to a finish line; it’s about the journey we take together. In our work, we’ll explore the parts of your identity that feel most meaningful, examine how your relationships shape your world, and create space to address the challenges you’re navigating right now. You are the expert on your own life, and I’ll trust your inner wisdom every step of the way.

In-person or virtual daytime availability. I weaving movement (somatics and walking), art, EMDR, and other non-traditional approaches into a talk-therapy space. I help folks build regulating skills and distress tolerance around our sore spots, and think of therapy as a space to build new skills and incorporate them into life. It should be a space to relearn to feel and manage, not to NOT feel.

Hi, I'm Grace! And I'm a lesbian, neurodivergent, trans-affirming therapist! I may be a good fit for you if: You struggle with aspects of your identity (gender, sexuality, life stage, ways of defining worth, etc.). You often feel as if you are “not enough” & don’t measure up to those around you. You have trouble expressing, processing, or regulating emotion, perhaps due to past contexts in which you didn’t feel safe to do so. You can sometimes be really mean to yourself. You find yourself pushing away the “hard stuff”. You want to build self-awareness to understand your inner world on a deeper level.

It can be difficult to navigate finding mental health care, but you’ve made it this far. I view my role as holding a warm space for us to explore what is working and not working for you in your life. Most of us weren’t taught how to experience our emotions mindfully and respond with intention. It makes sense that many of us struggle with responding to our emotions compassionately. I may help you identify, understand, and accept difficult internal experiences while taking meaningful action in your life.

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Therapists
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialized knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.

Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organizations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.

How can individuals recognize a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognize a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
