I work with adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck—even when it looks like they have everything together on the outside. Many of the people I work with worry their problems aren’t “therapy worthy,” only to realize how much support, clarity, and relief they can gain once they start. You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable to reach out. I believe the relationship we build in therapy is one of the most important parts of the process. Feeling comfortable, understood, and supported can make all the difference, so we’ll take time to see if we’re a good fit.

For Gay, Bi, and Queer Men, unresolved pain and unspoken hunger can create deep ruptures in our present lives. When emotions have no language, they manifest in our bodies, relationships, and patterns—sometimes in ways that feel disruptive, compulsive, or out of our control. These are signs of emotional injury that deserve space to be acknowledged and healed. Therapy offers that space. It is a place where mind, body, and spirit can reconnect—where fragmentation can turn into integration. Have you always felt different from others? Might you be more than just shy and introverted? Do you have intense passions and special interests? Do you have sensory differences? If you are open to the possibility that you are autistic, a formal evaluation can be a big step in self-awareness and a lens to understand your life experiences. You could also be eligible for accommodations at work or school. I specialize in diagnosing and treating adults and teens. I have a distinctive voice and perspective as a psychologist and father of an adult son with autism. Read more on my web site.

I work with queer folks who carry anxiety, exhaustion, and self-doubt from setting their needs and identities aside in the name of belonging. Maybe you’ve resorted to bending, explaining, and smoothing things over so others can “get it.” You deserve to be fully seen and embraced as you. You want relationships where you don’t have to dull your spark or earn love and acceptance. Maybe you’re worried that losing a relationship means losing a whole community. You don’t need anyone’s permission to be yourself, but sometimes unmasking just feels too vulnerable. You’re ready for queer JOY and to embrace it without apology.
