As a transpersonal, body and gestalt psychotherapist, EMDR and Comprehensive Energy Psychology practitioner, meditation teacher and hypnotherapist, I offer an embodied and integrated approach to therapy, coaching , consultation, and teaching. Our problems and difficulties are opportunities for growth and wisdom, our innate intelligence always knows exactly what we need to transform or heal. Often, we need to undergo a process of compassionately encountering what it is that we find unacceptable, terrifying, or seemingly impossible for us to bear or let go. Paradoxically, these are the things that can lead us into deeper relationship with our true self.

TELEMEDICINE-enabled practice. I see counseling as a collaborative process. My approach is mindfulness-based. The idea is to become aware of how you think, feel and behave in order to overcome problems and live life more fully. I believe that learning to see yourself and others with compassion leads to well-being and meaning in life . I have 20+ years of clinical experience, and an active, engaging counseling style. My approach to treating perfectionism was empirically validated to be effective by an independent research team. As a speaker, I conducted numerous domestic and international workshops.

One's life and overall functioning is enhanced or restricted by one’s thoughts and belief system. You are meant to be happy and content. What you think/believe vibrates. The "energy of our emotional vibration" resonates with a direct correlation to what is occurring and manifesting in our lives, and to some degree the lives of others. Understanding this concept and becoming intentionally aware that one is a co-creator empowers and attunes to the calibration of well being. The approach applies to individuals, families, and couples. Underneath we all seek a sense of comfort, ease, and satisfaction with the experiences in our lives.

Tap into the power that is produced when faith is mixed with action, and then watch what God does in your life .
Hello! I'm Ophelia and I am excited you found my page. How do you respond to challenges, Stressors and failures? Challenges and Failures doesn’t mean nothing has been accomplished; there is always the opportunity to learn something. Always remember that God isn’t surprised by our stumbles. His love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness are bigger than any mess we make. God never sees any of us as failures; He only sees us as learners. We fail only when we don’t learn from each experience. The decision is up to us—we can choose to turn a failure into a hitching post or into a guidepost in our lives.

At some point, you may find yourself in need of a little extra support. Maybe someone non-judgmental to listen to you and to hear what you have to say. Perhaps you need a safe space to process something with a therapist who can help you find your own answers. If you are feeling out of control or if you are struggling with life ’s challenges, seeking help is an excellent way to start the process of healing. Together, however, we can work collaboratively to identify and reach your goals to create essential changes in your life .

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
