Like many of us, you might be dealing with trauma, burnout, stress, existential dread, or navigating neurotypical society as a neurodivergent person.
I see myself as a support and witness to your process–you are the expert on yourself and your life, and we’ll work together to get curious and explore what’s important to you through conversation and creative outlets. Intuitive, process-based creativity is a pathway to learn about, interact with, and express the deepest parts of ourselves.

I work with adults on issues such as self-esteem, relationships, trauma, depression, anxiety, and addiction.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it's my goal to help you feel respected and create a safe environment for you to share whatever you need to during therapy. It is my intention to empower you, strengthen your individuality, help to strengthen your belief that you have great worth, and that you can overcome traumatic events and memories. We are more than the thoughts we have that we're ashamed of, we're more than the worst moments of our lives, much more than our mistakes, and in my practice, I respect the courage it takes to be vulnerable, honest, and open to new ways of thinking.

My experience includes attachment , adoption issues, addiction & recovery, ACOA/codependency, trauma, women’s issues, and mood disorders.
Have you heard the phrase "If you're going through Hell, keep going”? Sometimes in our darkest moments, we need cheerleaders. We need people who recognize that what we are going through seems unbearable and that the simple act of going forward takes courage. Therapy can be the vehicle to help us move forward. When treatment is non-judgmental, supportive and encouraging, you and your therapist can make an unstoppable team. I believe that people want to be "well," but we just don't know an effective way to achieve it. Together, we can work on identifying your personal path to wellness and improved confidence in your strengths.

I am certified in cognitive behavioral therapy and am a certified clinical trauma specialist.
Do you struggle with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others? Even if you’ve learned ways to cope, do you feel ready to process what you’ve been holding and begin healing more deeply? The clients I work best with are thoughtful, resilient individuals who want to better understand their experiences and reclaim a sense of safety, balance, joy, and meaning in their lives. Some are curious about exploring creative expression as a way to access emotions and experiences that may be difficult to talk about directly.

Over the last 11 years I've supported clients navigating depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and solution-focused. That means I meet you where you are, and we work together to find strategies that support your unique needs and goals. Creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard is at the heart of what I do. I often use an eclectic treatment approach to explore what brought you to therapy in my practice and then decide on the most appropriate ways to help you make progress.

My work with individuals and relationships of all forms is informed by psychodynamic, and trauma-focused modalities, with a focus on post-traumatic stress & complex trauma, anxiety, OCD, sexuality & gender, and substance use.
Therapy and personal change of any form occurs best through relationships based on trust and a common purpose. Relationships where you are encouraged to say what’s on your mind, be challenged, take risks, and gain new insights. As a therapist, I focus intently on honoring your autonomy as we collaborate to work towards your goals for therapy. My intention is not to teach you a “correct way to live” but instead to learn about you in all your complexities as you navigate this chaotic world. I see my job as helping to create a space for you to explore yourself further, leading to new possibilities for your life.

I help clients work through trauma, anxiety, and life transitions that feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate.
Therapy is your space to exhale and feel truly seen. You might be carrying heavy experiences from the past, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer work, or overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or life transitions. You may be used to handling things on your own and are starting to realize something needs to change. You might notice this showing up in your relationships, your thoughts, or your ability to feel steady day to day. Even if you are not sure where to start, something feels off, and you are ready to take a closer look.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
