I have worked with problematic sexual behaviors and physician boundary issues for over a decade and have a passion for helping clients find answers. Often the behavior is not the issue but the client's reaction to the behavior or there are underlying reasons for why they are engaging in maladaptive behaviors. Each client is unique and the issue is often about unmet needs for nurturing, control, power, love and connection. Helping clients find the answers, their resiliency, and improve their healthy sexuality is an amazing part of the work that we do together.

You’re probably here because something needs to change. Maybe life threw something big at you, like a loss, illness, injury, or a memory that won’t let go, and now you’re trying to figure out what’s next. Maybe it’s anxiety, burnout, insomnia, or coping habits that aren’t working for you anymore, and you aren't sure what else to try. I work with teens, adults, and seniors to help create real, lasting change when things feel overwhelming. My goal is to get you unstuck, tap into your strengths, and work together to help you get back to or build a life that reflects your values and life goals.

Everyone can use an objective voice to help them work out what is going on in their lives. Sometimes relief can begin just by deciding that a little help won’t hurt. “Beneath every behavior there is a feeling. And beneath each feeling is a need. And when we meet that need rather than focus on the behavior, we begin to deal with the cause, not the symptom” (Ashleigh Warner). This is my philosophy for counseling. I have done work with children/adolescents and their families. Mental health concerns manifest differently in children/teens than they do in adults, and I know what to look for and how to help find the skills to help.

I work with adolescents and adults who want therapy that is both evidence-based and deeply human. Many of my clients come to me seeking skills and insight while also needing a space where they feel fully heard. I believe that attention and validation can be transformative, and that therapy should leave you with more perspective than when you came in. My approach balances critical thinking and science with respect for the complexities of lived experience, creating a space that is flexible, collaborative, and focused on what matters most to you.
