While I have specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention ( ERP) for OCD, I utilize an integrative approach that incorporates elements of attachment theory, existential-humanistic theory and harm reduction philosophy.
I see therapy as a meaningful step toward understanding yourself, growing and making lasting change. In my experience, there is no one-size-fits all approach, so it can take different shapes and forms depending on your needs. Whether you're looking to build self-awareness, strengthen your relationships, change your unwanted habits, process past traumas, better manage your stress or simply feel better emotionally - I am here to help!

Life brings stress, change, and unexpected challenges. Even when things seem manageable on the surface, those experiences can quietly affect how we think, feel, relate to others, and move through the world. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and develop healthier ways to cope and grow. I work with adults navigating everyday stress, major life transitions, self-doubt, career pressures, relationship concerns, and questions around identity. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected.

However you show up, my baseline is to provide a safe, respectful, and validating space where you are received without assumptions, judgment, or agenda. To bring us closer to your inner voice and illuminate your inner world, I draw on diverse practice experiences that taught me to listen beyond words and look beyond surfaces, plus art and music training that sharpened my attunement. This facilitates human-to-human understanding that can help us work together toward your goals with care and clarity, whether that involves change, growth, exploration, or acceptance.

Your child’s behavior makes sense, even if it doesn’t always look “appropriate.” I work with kids whose nervous systems are doing their best to protect them, whether they’re bolting from the classroom, hiding under desks, or speaking in Minecraft metaphors. I specialize in supporting neurodivergent kids and those navigating trauma—children who are often mislabeled as defiant, dramatic, or “too much.” As a trained play therapist, I create a space where your child can feel safe enough to show up as they are—without being asked to shrink, mask, or perform.

It takes strength to reach out, and that strength is already part of your healing. Our work together will encourage you to stretch beyond what’s familiar. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, grief, panic, OCD and I understand how hard it can be to face these struggles head-on. That’s why I tailor each session to you—meeting you where you are and adjusting tools and strategies to fit your needs. All of this happens within a framework that prioritizes safety, choice, and readiness. I explore all forms of grief, including loss, life transitions and the quiet, complicated grief that often goes unnoticed.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
