Autism Therapists in Philadelphia, PA
I view my work as supporting bodies in transition - in whatever form that comes. Many of my clients face the impact that physical change has on their mental and emotional well-being through illness, life-transitions, and loss. I hold space for the experience of medical trauma; chronic, progressive, and advanced illness; chronic pain; birthing bodies; end-of-life care, and grief.
Transitions show up throughout our daily lives - not just the big moments. I also work with neurodivergence, depression, anxiety and relationship concerns to address the needs of the whole person and find creative approaches to authentic self-expression.

Therapy and the treatment of anxiety is challenging and ultimately highly rewarding work when clients receive relief from their symptoms. I value the balance of the interpersonal and relational components of the therapeutic relationship with the development of practical and evidence- based skills to achieve long lasting symptom reduction.

Do you often feel like on paper you have it all together, but on the inside you may be consumed by feelings of anxiety or doubt? Many of my clients come to therapy stuck in a disconnect between their mind and body. I recognize how hard it can be to show up for yourself when you may be more attuned to others’ perceptions of you, protecting yourself from judgement or conflict. Unattainable standards in childhood or parental neglect can manifest in adulthood as low self-esteem, anxiety, or relational challenges. I am here to help you get unstuck and rewrite these narratives that once protected you, though no longer serve you.

As an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapist, I offer a non-pathologizing, compassionate approach grounded in the belief that we are all doing our best, often with strategies that once kept us safe or met our needs.
Collaboratively, we can explore whether those strategies still serve you and create space for new, empowered choices in how you relate to yourself and the world.
Therapy with me is relational, supportive and direct. It won’t always be comfortable AND you will be held with care and respect through it.

I am invested in working with people of a wide range of relationship models and social identities including polyamorous/non-monogamous, trans and nonbinary, Black, Indigenous, and people of color, fat, disabled, neurodivergent, and sex workers.
At my core, I am goofy, quirky, nerdy, and caring. I believe there is space for playfulness, joy, and humor in therapy and also space for all the sadness and rage. My personal value system includes dismantling white supremacy through action, fat liberation, trans joy, radical disability justice, and gleefully destroying the heteropatriarchy.

I work with young adults and all ages who are struggling with neurodiversity, including Autism Spectrum Disorder ( ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and those facing anxiety and loss.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Art Therapist who emphasizes compassion and unconditional respect for your life experiences. I personalize my approach to meet the needs of every client, using a combination of skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and techniques of Art Therapy. I offer art therapy strategies as an option that may enhance verbal processing or be used as a new way to communicate in the therapeutic space.

We all carry heavy burdens, such great pain, and take for granted both what we hold and our ability to heal. I utilize a strengths-based approach to help you help yourself, to put yourself first, and to support you in changing your behaviors that feel more aligned with your goals and values. More than anything, I want to help you cultivate joy and align with a version of yourself that you're proud of.
