Sometimes life sits heavy on our shoulders. This past year has been especially difficult- isolating, ever changing and transforming “normal” as we knew it. We need support along the way to untie knots, approach new solutions and receive warm support, especially during difficult chapters in life. I am a licensed clinical social worker, specializing in helping individuals find solutions with a supportive, problem solving approach. You can expect that therapy with me will prioritize understanding your individual needs and collaboration.

I am passionate about helping my clients empower themselves by fostering resiliency, navigating life transitions, and overcoming emotional distress. We may use art therapy as a tool to bridge the emotional and creative processes while facilitating self-awareness and expression. I am also dedicated to assisting clients throughout the perinatal and postpartum stages to include infertility, birth trauma, and related grief and loss issues. Lastly, I have forensic experience that enables me to provide competency restorative services and assist family members of those involved in the justice and correctional systems.

My ideal client is someone who is entering therapy with the realization that they desire to be seen and heard; a person who sees therapy as a relationship to be built with a person they can be open with. I find an interest and willingness to identify and work through trauma is a common thread among those I work well with, particularly when it manifests as addiction or BPD. Beyond trauma associated with combat, violence, or sexual abuse, I feel trauma among members of LGBT and other marginalized communities, as well as people who have struggled with the surviving pandemic, is important to see and address.
